HOUSE RULES

 

  1. BE ON TIME –

You must be on the floor, signed in and ready to workout when class starts.  We realize that this is LA and traffic can be unpredictable, so if you are late, plan to do 5 burpees for every minute of tardiness.  However, it will canadian online pharmacy/ cialis free trial/ viagra dosage be up to the coach on duty whether or not to allow you into the class.  If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will need to find another class to attend.

 

  1. BE RESPECTFUL –

When Coach talks, pay attention.  Support your fellow athletes. Set an example for the class. Treat the equipment with respect.  Please do not throw the bar collars or drop an empty barbell.

 

  1. CHECK YOUR EGO AT THE DOOR –

As the saying goes, somewhere a high school kid is warming up with your PR.  There is no room for ego at this gym.  What might be light or easy for you is a PR for one of your fellow athletes.  So please remain humble.

 

  1. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF-

If you sweat, drool, bleed or cake chalk on something, please wipe it down when you are finished.   When you leave, take your belongings with you.  We donate all items left here at the end of every month.  Throw away your trash. If you are using a plastic water bottle, take it with you and recycle it.

 

  1. BE POSITIVE-

Please do not whine, criticise or complain.  There will be WODs that seem daunting, movements that feel awkward and impossible at first, and yes you might hate our music.  Complaining about it won’t do a whole lot for you.  Your success in CrossFit, like in everything else, will be greatly enhanced by a positive, open minded attitude.  And please send us a playlist, we all love requests!

 

  1. SUPPORT EACH OTHER-

If you finish your workout first, cheer on those that are still working.  If you see someone you don’t know, introduce yourself.  Please be mindful of what is going on around you and stay clear of moving barbells and swinging bodies.

 

  1. DO WORK –

We are here to get better. and to get results.  You are expected to put 100% of your effort into every class and every workout.  No half-reps or Bro-Reps. Nobody cares who finishes first, we care that you move safely and correctly. Never give up, you can lower the weight, and scale the movements but you are expected to finish every workout.

 

  1. HAVE FUN!!! –

This one needs no explanation.  Let’s have some fun and not take ourselves too seriously!
